I bounced. One small buck ate a little corn at daylight. Just saw a 130” deer running a doe on 6 south of CS

I’ve been hunting here and there when the weather was right. Made a sit Friday morning and had a 4 point come by and a deer blow me when the wind swirled. Had to work saturday morning and I got skunked Sunday morning after sitting til 11. We’ll come to find out on Saturday morning the deer I’ve been hunting was under my stand for 2 hours with a doe. I’m slipping in this morning til about 12 then I’ll need to head to an inspection. Service is non existent at this spot and is one of the reason for no updates. Hopefully today is the day

We've all been there. And it sucks. Thats the reason I dont have cell cameras. Its one thing to find out the target deer was there while you worked etc. But its a running kick in the taint to see your target 300 yards away from where your sitting.

Yep. One of my target bucks walked by my stand back on the 18th but I was sitting in another blind 400 yards to the north.

No luck. Pretty sure I saw him run the doe by me at 11:30 on the walk out. It was in a creek bottom and I couldn’t see his head. I’m going to try to get in this evening. Not sure though.

He was in my hand corn with the doe when I walked in to hunt last night. Doe saw me and spooked. I’m over it. Taking a few days off. Maybe an all day sit Thursday before heading to the river lease Friday-Sunday.
