I guess I think differently about deer than most do. I look at the body first and the antlers last. If he has both it’s a bonus. You ain’t gonna hear me turn down a mature buck saying
“Naw, he will score too much” , but I’m gonna try to shoot a 4.5 or older every time. That’s about as far as you can stretch it on the places I hunt. That said, that buck looks mature to me and I’d pop him.

White around the eyes would make just about everything in S. Texas mature then. Just about all our deer have white around there eyes.
