Off the shelf...I like Angelo’s. Little spicy for some kids but nice bites HEB has it.

Big fan of 2 gringos chupacabra rubs, the original and Cajun are a good combo. Interestingly enough for dry rub ribs I have been using their brisket magic and Meat Church’s Holy Cow rub. The combo is great on just about anything you throw on the pit. Another good one is coarse pepper and jack Daniels pork rub, I was skeptical of the JD rub but my dad turned me onto that and they come out excellent as well and provide great color. Those are my to go to rub combos for ribs.

              Dirty Dave's Rub:
              2c Brown Sugar
              1/2c Ground Black Pepper
              1/2c Lowrey's Seasoned Salt
              1/2c Lowrey's Garlic Salt
If you like a little heat, you can add some cayenne pepper etc.

Chupacabra is good all around and I recently stumbled upon Ham Grenade. Both sold at HEB.

Fiesta brand rib rub. And then dusted with Salt Lick dry rub, it has a kick so it doesn't take a whole lot

Check out Amazing Ribs.com and mix up some Memphis Dust. Love that stuff and most ingredients are probably already on hand.

                            1.5 tsp cayenne
                            1.5 tsp cumin
                            1 tbsp kosher salt
                            1 tbsp garlic powder
                            1 tbsp onion powder
2 tsp 16 mesh black pepper
                            1 tbsp brown sugar

Sauce the ribs when you wrap. Baste them with sauce 30 minutes before you pull them.
