Covert Cell booster antenna

Searched and found these recommended on another thread from 2021.



I'm cheap (and need 4, maybe 8) so I Googled more and found these for 1/2 price.



I don't know what these type #s mean :

Gain: 9dBi;
Frequency Range: 698-960 MHz, 1710-2170 MHz, 2300-2700 MHz;
VSWR: <2.0;

Do they matter ? Or in a nutshell: Will the long antennas work/are they compatible with Coverts?

And I'm assuming folks run that cable in some sort of conduit?

I'm an idiot when it comes to "communications" lol.

My reg covert antenna has the little wire looking pin sticking down out of the center like coax.

The antennas I bought do not.

They don't work.

What verbiage am I looking for to ensure I get the right type extended antenna for the covert?

Are you sure you are setting up your coverts right? Turn to on and it will search for signal and once its located signal with bars then to turn the switch to the next click to arm camera. Several of my coverts have 3 bars of signal where I cant get a cell signal with my phone. This is using the stock covert twin antennas. Smart has a setup for the boosters and could tell you what you need

Yes, I'm doing it correctly. Won't grab signal. Been running 8 of these on the app for a few years now. No issues with a signal.
But no signal on this new property has me looking for options.

Basically an antenna on a 10' cord to get higher for better shot at catching a signal. Don't know if the antenna "boosts" chances or not. Certain ones screw right to the cam.
