The bear was in an animal sanctuary behind an electric fence.

Still pretty intimidating to be that close. I was probably 30 feet from it.

Cool, just an awesome pic of that bear. And only an electric fence and 30 feet between you and that bear! I believe I’ll let you take that picture and then just tell me about it while I go look at a waterfall or glacier or something. Have a great time, really enjoy your Alaska pics.

Spending the night in Seward tonight and can’t check into the fishing lodge tomorrow until 3:00

Deciding whether to hang out here tomorrow or drive down to Homer. We will see.

You can go up to the Russian river/river ferry and fish with the bears without an electric fence
