Default Got in a pretty good fight this morning-kinda graphic

Well I survived about 6 rounds but finally got knocked out in round 7-that red headed mofo got me just right and I was down.

I have always wondered how it happened to other people but now I know that my head is not as hard as a t post driver. Dropped me flat with stars and blood,I was super lucky my lease-mate tcooper93 was there and got me up and back to camp. He did an assessment and we were off to Abilene 40 miles away, after a CT scan and 6 staples we were back at camp finishing up our chores.

Made for a pretty long, painful day but got fairly lucky—Travis (tcooper93) really appreciate you handling my dumb butt

Ok, thanks. I have tried to imagine how you hit yourself in the head with a tee post driver. Never seen a tee post driver cut with a angle like that on the bottom. Then I never raise the post driver much higher than the bottom edge of the white top.

This is the second post I have seen on this subject, been wanting to see a video of someone actually accomplishing whacking themselves in the head with one.

Seen a fella gettin after driven that t-post, went to raise the driver and squared himself up in the forehead, I mean lights out instantly. Took a few minutes to come back around, scared us all pretty good. We were doing the same thing fixing feeder pens…taking turns driving the t-post in some really hard ground.

I so don't understand how all you guys hit yourself over the heads with these things. Baffles me. Is this a short man issue?

Haha…..drive enough t-post in your day brother and you will see how it can happen. Many of us have done it. I’m 6’3” and it’s too easy, trust me. There’s a reason they have that white paint on the top foot or so of those things.

Glad you’re ok Spencer. Sucks for sure.

I worked for a fence company in highschool and have drove thousands of t posts. I would scoff everytime I saw this happen to somebody until it happened to me last year! Luckily I had a baseball cap and sunglasses on. If it wasn't for that I would have probably ended up with a dozen stitches!

I usually wear a hard had when I drive t-posts. I have only bounced one off my head once and I was lucky that I did have one on... It still made me see stars. I can't even begin to imagine how bad it would be driver-on-head.

To those of you that have never done this, drive a lot of t-posts in the texas heat. You start getting desperate to get the **** thing in and you go just a tiny bit too high and bam.

I bought a man-saver pneumatic post driver on my last fence job. End of problem.

I've done the same thing. Drove the t-post down to where I rose back up for another hit the back of the driver caught on the top of the t-post. One hit took me down. My wife was with me what is wrong then she saw all of the blood and almost freaked out.
