We stayed at Tall pines resort. Unfortunately with the owners passing, it is being sold and no reservations are being taken for next year until the sale is final. Other places we've stayed is Rio Colorado in town. There are also several rental properties too. It's a wonderful place. I hope y'all get to enjoy it if you make it up there.

Other things to do- fly fishing, go play golf in Angel Fire (fun course). There's a brewery right outside of Eagle's Nest going to Red River. Also a good hamburger place in Eagle Nest called Kaw'Lija's.

The steak was seared on my travel grill that we take on vacations with us. After searing, I continue to cook on low, basting with a melted butter and herb concoction. Love tomahawks and they will feed an entire family.
