When I bought my Chipps, the guy at Carters country said they were guaranteed snakeproof or my wife could get the money back for them! We all just laughed and laughed!

That is a fat copper head. I stepped on a moccasin, many years ago, while hunting. Lucky for me, I stepped on it where it only had about 6" from head down, to strike with. It was nailing the crap out of my boot. I did not have snake boots on, just lace ups. They were enough to keep him from nailing me. Had I stepped on it farther towards the tail, I am sure he would have gotten over the top of the boot. They don't like to be stepped on.

I wonder if that copper head is prego, like the one posted the other day.
