Thought I would start a rifle elk thread for those who are going bang stick hunting.
Took this wounded bull yesterday on private land.
We manage a ranch and have limited elk hunting access, cows and anything wounded if we can take it.
This bull had 2 bullet wounds in his front leg. Jumped him at 50 yds and made a 75 yd shot to put him down. No infection yet.
We think he came off of the neighbors place from a guided hunter.
Might score 320-325 ".
