I’ll never understand, especially at a time when we are literally seeing our country being transformed, why you wouldn’t vote for someone that has a chance at winning and would help prevent the further degradation of our society.
Like it or not trump is the best option
If for no other reason I would vote for him just in hopes that the corruption in the justice department is gets fully exposed and rooted out. If he loses then the entire investigation gets shut down and the Democrats get away with an attempted coup Scott free which means they will try again if necessary in the future.

Very well said Rat!
I'll add that I had that attitude last time around. Did not want to vote for Trump... Would not vote for Hillary... had decided not to vote at all, but then thanks to some very well spoken folks on here, I realized that indeed my vote counts just as much as anyone else's, so I reluctantly voted for Trump. To this day, I despise the man as a person, but I love him as my President. He was and is exactly what this country needs and needed. He did not need this job. He had everything in life he ever needed (other than the bragging rights to be able to say he was the most powerful man in the world)... I think he ran simply for 2 reasons, 1. for his ego, and 2. because he truly does love this country and thought he could have a positive influence on steering it from the brink of destruction...
I really do not care which order of reasons he ran. He's done a good job overall, and for dang sure better than Hitlery. And will continue to do so, I think if re-elected for 4 more years. He won't have to be worrying about getting re-elected. He can really take the gloves off. Further, IF he can bring enough other successful Repulsican candidates with him that the DemoKrauts lose the House and the Repulsicans gain a super-majority in the Senate, it could be a really historic 4 years in the life of our country and its future. Yea, I'd go vote if I were you for the candidate that you think can best help this country and has a chance of winning the election...

We are going to be stuck with the same crappy candidates until we are willing to vote outside of it. I can’t remember an election where I voted FOR a candidate rather than against the opposing candidate
But this is also how we got 8 yrs of Clinton, so there’s that....
****ed if we do, ****ed if we dont

I'll add to this. One more Supreme Court Justice. That's what everyone needs to be thinking about seeing how Roberts is showing more and more who he is.

That’s great for your county, but the large blue metro counties will soon outnumber the rural red ones. So then what?

With our state drifting blue, you have to look at the big picture. While Trump should win here, we don't need to help him lose. If enough people say "my vote wont matter", we could end up with a demented pervert with oldtimers disease in the white house. Depending on who is selected for vice president, this becomes a much bigger deal. Hilliary or big Mike as vp changes everything.
Look at it as a vote against socialism and hopefully 4 years of draining the swamp with the gloves off. Hopefully we will have a good start before the election as the AG and senate cases open up. We need to out the democratic party for what it really is. The republicans are not perfect, but for the future of our country, there is no way i could vote for anyone but Trump this fall.
And then we need to be grooming his replacement for 2024, because like cancer, they will keep coming back.

About Jo Jorgensen that is running for President in 2020. She is affliliated with the Libertarian Party and her campaign hq is in Greenville SC
First thoughts... Educated in Texas at Baylor and SMU. PhD in I/O Psych. Those are good. Better than New York and Delaware options.
Stands no chance at all of winning a state, IMO, but will get my vote.
