I took my daughters to the lease last week for some axis hunting. They are "seasoned" whitetail hunters so now they have been hoping for an axis. I started getting pics of some nice bucks on my covert lately so I decided we would brave the heat and get after them. As the pics show we had a great time. My youngest struck first with an old buck who's horns did not match his age. The next morning my oldest connected on our target buck. I feel blessed to have two great daughters who really enjoy hunting with their dad.
