A woman in hot air balloon realizes she is lost and lowers her altitude. She spots a man fishing and hollars at him saying she promised to meet a man an hour ago, but she is lost. The fisherman consults his GPS and tells the woman you are approximately 30 feet above an elevation of 2486 feet above sea level and you are 31 degrees 14.97 minutes north latitude by 100 degrees 49.09 minutes west longitude.
She rolls her eyes and says' " you must be a Republican"
"I am," replies the man. "how did you know"
The woman replies," everything you said is technically correct, but I have no idea what to do with information you gave be, and I'm still lost. Frankly, your no help at all."
The man smiles and responds. "you must be a democrat!"
She tells him he is correct and ask's how he could tell.
He replies. "well, you don't know where you are, or where you are going. You've risen to great heights largely due to hot air. You made a promise you can't keep, and now you expect me to solve your problem. You're in exactly the same situation you were in before we met, but now somehow it is my fault!
