    Traditional FSC Week 5

This will be a 5 shot challenge with only the 5th shot being scored and you will need to make a 2nd measurement in case of a tie. You can use paper or plain cardboard, you want a blank target face. Target will be at 12 yards.

Shoot 4 arrows to form as close to a square as you can, these will be the corners of your square. Shoot the 5th arrow at center of the square that the 4 arrows form. To make it easier, you can take a marker and mark around your arrows, and remove. Take a straight edge and draw an X using the first 4 arrow holes.

Measure the edge of the 5th arrow to the center of the X, closest to center wins call. Measure the distance between the upper left and lower right arrow holes, this will be used in case of a tie. shorter distance breaks tie.

Shoot this once a day for four days. Use new paper or cardboard each day.
Must be first 5 shots of the day.

            One question:

Will this be a total measurement of the four days, or the best of the 4 days?

Very cool! So, you create your own target "square", then try to hit where you think a center "x" will be?

                And that 3-5/16" is nice!

Well...... just shot these. Fourth arrow was the bottom right one and closer to the middle than I really wanted, but did work out with the bottom left as a nice clump of fletches to aim just above.

Fifth is 11/32"" from center "x".
                  Diagonal tiebreak measure is 7-1/2".

Dang... competition is stiff around here.

I only have 4 field points right now, so I pulled and reshot. Calling this 2 1/4". No need for the tie breaker.

Going to be tough to beat that score, nice shot tradtiger.

Only way I can see to beat it will be to shoot a tight 5 arrow group.

                            Nice shooting.

Not true at all, Rick. Just have to nail the intersection point. My bottom right fourth arrow went more middle than I intended. BUT, it set up a nice visual pocket that was obvious to aim at -- just over, actually. And I didn't miss it.

Ever shoot a covey rise of quail? Sometimes there's on obvious bird, and your eye just guides the gun to it.
