60 votes are needed in the senate. The house passed a bill but it only funded around 5.8 Billion.

Didn’t we have more seats then? I think what he did to Pelosi is hilarious, but I don’t like political stunts from either side. I might not have enough info on this though.

The Senate actually had less Republican seats than they do now. Nowhere near 60 and with Rinos like Flake, McCain, etc nothing Trump wanted was getting done.

This! The Senate had more republicans but not control for a majority vote. To get anything through the Senate they would have had to have some Democrat votes
