Watched this buck Saturday evening while hog hunting. Not sure I can remember one in our area this far along in mid-April.

Iíve got one the same...way ahead of the others. Not sure if that means more potential or just hard horned earlier. We shall see.

It just means he dropped his rack earlier last year.

Just like a pregnant doe, the time to grow back horns is very similar. So it all depends on health, injuries, and when they dropped as to when they start growing.
