Road feeder cooler holder

When we are filling feeders we run out of room in the buggy for the cooler. So I decided to put a rack on top of the road feeder.
Started off making the stanchions by welding nuts to flat strap and capping the 1” tubing.

Next I built a frame out of 1 1/4” angle iron.

Then it was time for a test fit and to drill the holes.

Looks great! How does it ride with the cooler on it?

I've been working on a plan for something like this for the last month but I think I'm going with a cheap-o aluminum hitch receiver basket bolted to the top so I can carry extra corn or a deer on it when needed
