Does anyone follow this race, or others similar to this type of horse racing? It's absolutely insane. Roughly 30 to 40 horses all racing in a 4 mile 500 yard, 2 lap race with 30 fences to jump. And these aren't just any ol fences... Becher's Brook, if you don't jump far enough, features(-ed, not sure if it's still around) a 6' 9" trench on the landing side. Rider's fall off horses, horses fall and cars that follow them on the inside of the track put up tents while they tend to fallen horses/riders...it's just chaotic. A trianwreck that I couldn't stop watching. Here's the 2014 Grand National. Worth a view!
