    Throckmorton County **Semi Live Hunt**

I always like following along with the live hunts and semi-live hunts so I thought I'd do one for this trip...

We are leaving around 4pm to make the 375 mile drive to Thockmorton County. I'll be in the south central part of the county on the Clear Fork of the Brazos. As some of you probably know, this is just a once a year trip to an 1100 acre cattle ranch. It's always a blind hunt as we have no cameras and don't have stands or feeders. I only have cell service in certain spots so I'll update as I go along as I can.

    The weather looks pretty good...

Here is the 10pt and 11pt from the first 2 hunts last year. I'll probably never have a hunt like that again!

        That's God's country.

It always strikes me funny that at some point, someone rode up to that river and said "Clear Fork". I've seen several hundred miles of the Brazos, and aint none of it clear.

The Brazos still runs muddy like she's run all along

You're sure right. Ain't anything clear about it. It's amazing how different everything looks on the other side of the property away from the river. You would think they were 100 miles apart.
