Isn't it funny that they are the largest employer in the U.S. and yet they have no income, the gov't does not have a job and does not have any way to make any money, so they get it from us so they can pay every one else.

I have seen those guys around San Antonio for years. Don't have a clue what they do, other than drive down the road. Look like BP vehicles, but instead of a green stripe, they have a blue stripe. I have never heard of them being involved in any form of a bust, never seen them on TV at any shooting, chase, robbery or murder. I kind of got the impression, they were created with government funding, but not really given a purpose, after creating that department. But they are there protecting us from something. Would be nice if they would protect the Constitution, make sure no politicians, try to destroy it or rewrite it.
They patrol the fed buildings here in downtown Fort Worth. Run the loading dock barriers, man the entry doors/ metal detectors, etc. Probably wasn't much until the OKC incident in 1995.
