We've got a fast moving line of rain coming through our area now. Gonna wait it out. Where I planned on going (a creek) I can stay out of the wind (at least no major waves) as long as I don't venture to far into the lake.

A few limits at Colorado Bend. They are in the shallows and deep so just getting started staging right in the park.

It'll be a week & a half before we can get up there.

We ended up fishing from around 11 am until 3 pm. Couldn't get a single bite. It was a nice day so it was still fun to be out on the water with my dad and my son (3 generations).

There were two separate boats coming in when we got there. Between them they had caught 4 fish and they were all sandbass.

This is on Cedar creek where it runs into Lake Tawakoni.

I soak em in milk a few hrs before I fry them, takes the fishy taste away.

My dad and I used to get into the white bass every spring. Some of my best memories as a kid. As I grew up i really don’t fish much anymore. I’d love to take me kids and do this again. Any ideas on where I might get into some white bass near Forney?

Caught 8 that we kept to eat tonight. Turned a few smaller one's back. Almost all of them were caught on a chartreuse road runner.

Anyone doing any good around Livingston? Caney or white rock to be specific. Going there Monday. Report later that day.

Went today to Bend. No action from the bank/wading. Three guys in a boat got 3 fish.
