    Youth late season question

In Throckmorton county can kids under 16 shoot bucks even though it runs conveniently with the late doe and spike season? Having a debate about the regulations.

Youth still get the same regulations like general season, even though there is an extended special season for doe/spike going on. We are in Erath county this weekend with the same regs.

Most places the rules are the same as the first two days of season. Again this is MOST places

Rules can be confusing. Some areas youth is limited to unbranched antlered bucks. I wish that wasn't the case. It's possible that: 1. not all kids prefer to shoot yearling bucks 2. Some kids would prefer to shoot mature(r) bucks.

It is what it is, and mine will take advantage of the opportunity to alter the genetic profile of a 161,000 acre piece of land with their spike tag if they have to. [emoji4]
