Sometimes I like to spend a couple hours making a good gumbo or suace picant but sometime I like quick and easy. Not having many dishes to wash is just an added bonus.
2lbs- large peeled shrimp or venison cutlets
1- large white onion
1- red, green, yellow, and orange bell pepper
6- large jalapenos
1- container of fresh mushrooms
1- stick butter
Mix vegtables and butter with shrimp or meat in a medium foil pan. Sprinkle with Tony's or Slap Yo Mama, garlic powder, and a few squirts of Maggies liquid seasoning (can be found in the Mecican food section) or soy sauce. Cover with foil. Cook on gas grill, BBQ pit, or oven for 30-45 minutes on medium heat with shrimp, closer to an hour with venison.
You either have instant fajitas or it can be served over rice.
