    Pick Up Tire Recommendations

I am needing tires for my 2014 Chevy 1500 z71. Mostly highway use but I do hunt with this truck and have some muddy roads into and out of deer camp.

I am looking for an all terrain tire that will not hurt my MPG but give me some traction when I need it. Anyone have any recommendations?

I ran Nitto ridge grapplers on my 2013 GMC 1500 and liked them. Never had any issues at them. Currently running them on my 2500 now.

Toyo Open Country AT’s have served me well. Also had good performance with Yokohama Geolander AT II’s. But I think Geolander changed their tread design

Similar driving for me. Mainly highway and gravel, dirt and fields on the weekends. Have had the Michelin LTX A/T for about 15,000 miles. Couldn’t be happier with them. They perform very well on and off road. They do better than the Michelin road tires in the rain in my opinion. 60,000 mile warranty. I am bias to Michelin though, have ran their tires for almost all my vehicles.

I’d agree with the above. We run the falkens on work trucks in ND and they do great. I am biased to the Michelin AT

Had Nitto Exo Grapplers on my 2015 Tundra and really liked em. Got almost 60,000 miles on em. Just put on Nitto Ridge Grapplers and no complaints so far. Seem to have a tad bit less road noise but that might be due to them being new. Either way, both real good tires.

I just got Toyo Open Country HT 2 on mine. I did want all terrain tires. The HT’s are a highway tire, but still 10ply for when I do need to drive thru the pasture.
