I think he is very old. BUT, sometimes these up close pictures of their body will fool you. Makes them look deeper than they are sometimes. Obviously, up close is good for noticing other things but be careful. He's old though.

I'm not in the old crowd here. His knees and face don't show old to me. If he didn't have that brisket on him everyone would be saying young. I think he's a healthy 3 yr old.
