Get a goat, it will eat your new trees and the grasshoppers will leave. Then you can eat the goat and plant new trees. I know I know, some of the easiest solutions are hard to see at first.

Tempo spray will kill them in minutes. Spray the tree and for several feet around it. I am assuming you have no fruit on these trees that you plan to eat this growing season.

Tempo is what I used several years ago and like bugleboy said, it killed them quick.

Maybe a small no trespassing/loitering sign by tree.... gotta let them know they are not welcome.... If they persist then call the police
