Power back on in Denton/Corinth area after almost 1:45 hrs off and 3x off since 2:15 am. Hope it stays on for awhile .

Generator has been running since 3am in S Houston............

Some models dont handle artic air well and even come in too high. This is a glimpse into what might happen a week from Saturday as far as temps. This would be temps at noon. Possible multi day storm coming thru with cold temps in place

wow, and its colder than anticipated. This is what its like being in a tree bow hunting in Iowa.

Power came back on for almost a hour at 5 am and is back out now

Power has been out in magnolia since 0437 this morning for me and 0100 for my mom just down the road. Still have gas and water so the family is good. Holding off on using the generator til it gets colder in the house.

Been watching the news this morning. The Houston area folks without power for extended time are due to down lines and such. At least thats what the news is saying. They are getting calls telling the power companies to roll the blackout to another neighborhood and they can’t because its a separate issue

Y’all experiencing extended outages are not part of “rolling blackouts”. These are legit outages due to failed lines. Here in Oncor territory the lineman have been working for 3 days straight pretty much. It’s going to be a long time before these issues get restored.
