I think they should make bowl eligible teams have winning records

7-5 or better. That will eliminate some of the pointless bowls.

I give zero ****s, but when you have a QB who walks it in on a 2 point conversion to beat Texas and he decides to sit out in the bowl game, he ****ed his team over! There is no I in team! He was part of the unit that got them there. It’s BS. They’re screwing their team! Which weakens the sport.

Is he not trying to protect his draft status? Didn’t UT have several do this last year in the same type of meaningless game and it was viewed as ok? I don’t like it either. I think it’s a bad look all the way around. Maybe I am missing something ?

Maybe so. I could have sworn many on here defended Malik and others. I could be wrong. I’m not a fan of it for sure but it’s hard for me to fault a first round guy for sitting out. As long as he didn’t wait until the last minute and put his team at an even bigger disadvantage.

Agreed, wasn’t as blatant. It’s a judgement call by official though.

I didn’t know the rule before Herman brought it up. I was acknowledging there was an actual rule and it was actually called.
