A buddy and I thinned a few axis down last weekend. 6 bucks and 1 doe glad we stopped there cause I was tired of gutting.

the reason they took so many is because they out compete the whitetail for resources and reproduce twice as fast. I have a 2:1 axis to wt ration on my low fence place so they are always green lit, just like hogs.

All low fence axis. Way to many of them. I have killed a bunch this year. We will have 30+ in coastal fields at night. If you want to pay I run hunts guaranteed on a high fence ranch. $2200 each and you can shoot as many bucks as you would like. None of this will go to waste I own a deer processing and we will eat on these and the others for a while. We make a lot of samples out of axis for customers to try our products. I will shoot more this weekend.
