I really like Texas whiskeys!

I like a lot of different whiskers but for the money Weller is hard to beat.

Blantons was my go-to until I discovered Willets Pot Still Reserve. Smoothest I've had.

Nice move. The Yellow Rose straight rye is some good stuff, Outlaw is smooth as well. As of now my better half amd I are enjoying Cody Road

I still haven't tried my Blantons but it will have to be dang good to beat the Yellow Rose Outlaw Im about to finish. Will have to get the Willets up next

Edit: the wife just said why don't we sit out back an you have a whiskey drink SOOO I'm opening the Blantons right now and will add to this after 1 or 2 or 3 of those

First glass of Blantons now.. I know we all taste different but I am NOT impressed!! Sounds like I should stock up on the outlaw before it's not available.. Oh well I keep coke around the house for stuff like this but it's an expensive mixer

Of my currently open bourbons my favorites are Bookers, and Four Roses Single Barrel.

Scotch, The Macallan 18, Laphroaig 18, and Aberlour Abunadh. And for a wallet friendly pour Monkey Shoulder.

Mixing whiskey, Pendleton, Weller, and occasionally Dickel.

Bought a bottle of Jim Beam Maple..... YUUUUUUUUKKKKKKK

Tried TX Whisky after that. Too bland for my taste. It's a blended and has no character if you ask me.

Rebecca Creek is probably one of the best whiskeys that I have had. It is just smooth and made in the Great State of Texas. Try it and you want regret.

Bird Dog Blackberry is a decent mixing and sipping whiskey that I drink 90% of the time. Nothing special, but it definitely gets the job done. I'll learn to appreciate good whiskey when I drink it to relax, not go out and chase women.

Rebecca Creek is awesome stuff, however it is not "made" here in Texas. It is bottled here. Part of the blend is aged in Kentucky, they ship it here mix it with neutral spirits (vodka), then bottle it. I've done the tour of the distillery, since they bottle it 1 mile from my house. They have a sweet swag shop.

That Bird Dog blackberry is hard to beat....harder to beat served over frozen blackberries. Their hot cinnamon isn't bad either. my Jack and Crown bottles have been collecting dust since I came across this stuff.
