i am thinking that is the way i will be going moving forward. Get a extra battery or two and move on down the road. How is the chain holding up? Staying sharp?

Only pre-mixed fuel. Makes em much less of a PIA.

Fresh gas every time. Dump out old gas between times. Run saw till it runs out of gas.

Bit the bullet and go electric then spend more money and get a couple quality batteries. It sucks when you purchase it but it is great when you need it and it works first time.
