Default Tiger Stripe Maple knife handle

I got the maple from a customer that I'm making three knives for, he gave me a piece of this maple 2x2x18 beautiful stripes. This is my model #118. Going to dye some and see how they turn out.

The pictures really don't do it any justice; I'll retake some pictures after I make the sheath and post it on the classifieds.

One of my all time favorite woods - curly maple - just a little below spalted pecan!!

Thanks all, I think I've made and sold 10 with that tiger maple and still have quite a bit in stock. It takes me several hours to eventually end up with that finish. I use several dyes and start with ebony stain and sand with 100 grit to open up the pours and finish up with a tan dye and 800 grit, Danish oil, buff and finish up with tru gun stock oil. But it' worth it, outside the gold grain really pops. The picture doesn't reflect the beauty in this wood.
