Euro Mount Tree/Pedestal

Just got done building this thing. Made with 1x4's and then stained. Stripped most of the shaggy bark off the cedar post and screwed more 1x4's inside the base to stabilize the post. Then added a styrofoam pad inside, putt moss on top of it and stuck some grass in the foam. Now it's in the office with the rest. Whatcha think?

Those are very nice. I am going to try a variation by cutting an old cedar post length wise and mounting to the wall instead of a base.
