I am headed out Mississippi-way in two weeks for college. I will be in Oxford. Anybody got any tips on huntin and fishin out there?

I'm a senior at Ole Miss actually. Oxford is pretty much completely surrounded by public land, which is home to a fair number of turkey, whitetail, ducks, & dove. Don't expect much out of the whitetail, being from Texas we've been truely blessed. As for fishing, lake Sardis is only 20 miles and has some great fishing, as well as the Tallahatchie river.
