Just like a bicycle handle break, squeeze the handle, cable pools the brake. Same concept, he has a cable connected to the trigger up to his mouth piece, squeezes the mouth piece and pulls the cable, cable pulls the trigger. Amazing, he was blind out of one eye as well.
