Looks like it’s time to remodel!

Copper pipe burst above my kitchen about 1pm today. Water went everywhere, had to remove sheet rock and insulation. Anyone in the spring/Conroe area have any experience sweating copper pipe?

That sucks about the forced remodel. I am not a plumber but have fixed copper pipes without sharkbites a couple times. Watch a couple YouTube videos on copper pipes, its a lot easier than you think. Spend time sanding and debur the old pipe well and the new piece you cut and it will take the solder well. Good luck.

I heard shark bites will be easiest. Thinking it may be best solution until plumber can get in and work with insurance company for permanent fix.
