    Need Heavy Duty Adhesive Remover

I just bought a Jeep and the seller put some kind of sticky backed foam insulation on the bed an floors. I want to bed line it so I started trying to remove this stuff. It’s not coming up. That glue or whatever adhesive was on it just keeps a thin layer glued down.
What kind of adhesive remover do you guys recommend?
I tried paint thinner / stripper because that is what I had in the garage. It helps but is not the answer

    Gracias

Since you are putting bed liner. How about wire wheel on a grinder or drill?

You can also try a heat gun with a razor blade. Anytime I remove a sticker or something with adhesive a little heat helps it release.

Gas or Airplane remover should knock it out.

Airplane remover (think it's actually called aircraft remover) is awesome stuff. Brush it on and stuff will wipe right off. Used it on a boat that had carpet glued down with liquid nails. Effortless.

Haven’t tried the new formula but the old stuff that clearly said on the can “causes cancer” worked great! Used it to strip 30 plus years of paint off a fire hydrant. Took it to bare metal quick.

That Aircraft stuff is heavy duty! Also might want to try acetone?

MEK works great depending on the composition of the adhesive.
