A couple of folks asked and PM'd me about a quick easy Ragin Blazer Shiner Bock chili I referenced in my live thread so here it goes. I picked up the Shiner Bock usage form a a TBHer but doctored the Ragin Blaze a little to my own tastes. Sorry it is not some technical spice Utopia, but I love me some Ragin Blaze premix. It is so much easier than using my other recipes and keeping all those ingredients on hand. This recipe is easy, it's quick and it is dang good. It can also be doctored up with peppers, etc to your own tastes.

Ragin’ Blaze Shiner Bock Chili

- 1.5lbs hamburger/venison chili grind/1 pound of pork sausage regular or hot
- 1-1.5 package(s) of Ragin Blaze Chili Mix
- 15 oz can of tomato sauce… or Zing Zang for more pop
- 2 can of Rotel drained
- 15-20 oz of Shiner Bock depending on how much liquid you like
- 1 medium-large sized onion cut into ½ or ¾” chunks
- butter
- heaping TBSP of diced garlic (fresh or jar)
- heaping TBSP of Tones Southwest Chipotle seasoning
- salt to taste towards the end of the cook if needed
- Optional: 2 cans of drained pinto beans ( for the non Chili Nazi types)

Directions:

Lightly saute chunked onions in the big pot with butter, throwing in garlic at the end of the render

Brown HB meat with onions and garlic (add a few dashes of salt)...do not drain.

Add Ragin Blaze, tomato sauce, Shiner Bock, Rotel and Chipotle seasoning to mix

Bring to a rolling boil stirring as it comes up.

Set to low/1 and let simmer for 1.5 hours stirring every 20 minutes. Add salt to taste at the end, if needed ( I don't). (Optional: if adding pinto beans, add in the last 30 minutes so they don't get over cooked)

Pull and let rest for 30 minutes as you make cornbread or go powder your nose for guests..

Add cornbread, fresh diced onions and shredded cheddar cheese on top and enjoy…

I'm the same way with my wife....it just a tad lower than medium but it doesn't stick with you. The chipotle just adds a light pop....no burn.

Sure thing...that chipotle is good stuff. I'm about to make another batch myselfl for our New Year Eve mexican food dinner. In a bowl or over tamales..

Well with this cold spell coming the weekend, the boss has made a request for more RB Shiner Bock Chili. I guess that's what we are having..lol

Haha I figured that's what you used. I just received my RB chili seasoning and RB seasoning. Picked up some chili grind on way back from the lease from Fischers in muenster. Your right on about the chipotle seasoning. Been simmering since 2:00. Time for a stir, silver bullet and pull the tops off them frijoles.

Made this a couple of months ago. Put what was left in the freezer. Warmed some this afternoon **** its good. By the way it's really good with just beef. I prefer the sausage and beef but still awesome with just ground beef.

Depends on your eaters.
I would double it to be safe. Plus it freezes well if you have left overs
