Yes sir, it’s smoked. After you get that pit rolling with smoke you close that lid and then every 15 minutes open her up and give a stir and put that lid back down for another 15 minutes.
It gets a real nice kiss of smoke added to the queso to bring the flavor over the top. Best I’ve ever had.
