Week Fifty One ish Trad FSC

Hunting near Llano, and friend had this dandy coffee mug. Here's a picture to print on 8,5×11 paper. Or draw your own version. Put a dot in the middle of white area below throat patch to target and measure to.

Shoot first arrow of a day from 12 yards (kiddos 7), any stance. Up to 3 days' tries allowed. Closest measure from nearest part of shaft to center of dot on deer neck wins.

    Have fun and good luck!

        It’s cold up here!!!

But I figured I could take one shot at 12 yards for you guys. The sacrifices I make... LOL

        Day 1 —> 3/4” low

I’ve been shooting 1-2 shots a day most days (just not following the challenges). I am still trying to get away and get my first bow deer.

Well my shooting has been frustrating me as of late. So much that I laid the trad bows on the bed in the spare room and took my compound to the ranch.
Dont get me wrong, killing pigs with a bow is fun, regardless of which style, but it would have been cooler to get a double with the longbow or recurve.
Still, I hadn't shot one all weekend but last night after dark I took about a dozen shots. And it was better than things had been.
So I decided to print and shoot the target and my first shot SUCKED. So much I didn't take a pic on the target.
What stank just as bad is my next two shots were great. That inconsistency though is what I need to work through.
Bottom right you'll see my day one hole.

                Nice shooting, gentlemen.

DRT, I think we all have them days, I more than others. Excellent follow up shots

                Day2: miss, no improvement

                  Day 2

I recall about week 40 using ‘the sun was in my eye’ as an excuse... So today I think I’ll use the ‘snow was in my eye!’ as I was about 2.5” high.
