I shot a Mathews Legacy for years. I finally retired it and now am shooting a Mathews Creed, my 3rd or 4th season I think. Bow prices have out priced my wallet. The Creed is used
I retired my Hoyt Vectrix after the 2013 season and bought a 2013 Elite Hunter. This will be my sixth season hunting with it. If I can afford it, I may get me a new one before next season though.
I love my 2011 Bear Carnage. Shoots smooth, fast, and super quiet. I have no reason to buy a new bow. Killed the elk in my avatar with it a couple weeks ago. Still works just fine.
I’m just curious, does any one still shoot older bows as they’re primary?
I shoot a Mathews DXT, got it in 2010. I’ve considered getting a new bow for a few years now, but I just can’t justify it. My DXT shoots great, I know it and quite literally love the thing. I think it will be a while longer before I will get another, but I will keep this one regardless.
What do you shoot? How old is it? Do you hesitate when considering something new?
I’m curious, I would like to know where you stand.
Still shooting my DXT also. I have thought about getting a new bow as well but i just can't justify it right now because the DXT gets the job done. Shoot 10+ animals a year (Deer, Hogs and Turkey).
