Sure is pretty in here this morning. Got a light fog rolling across the Milo field. Turkeys are doing their thang to my North.
Squirrels are making it rain acorns.

I love hunting Kansas. The worst part about it, is having to leave.

No deer sightings yet. But it's just now sunrise.

Slow, slow this morning. Not a deer sighting yet between me & Clark. It's funny how it can go from fire to ice cold.

Pretty sure deer fed most if the night as our cell cams where loaded with pics this morning. Including 2 of our Target bucks.

Clark and I both agreed we didn't want to put too much pressure on our property before the rut kicks in. Hence the public land choice.

Besides, it's always nice to have options if you need a change of scenery.

Gonna stick with it till 9:30-10:00

Well sometimes you get zeroed. That's just hunting. I'm headed out.
I've had 2 150" class deer in bow range, (with no shot) the end of October in Kansas. That's not bad for a 4 day hunt.

We'll be back around Nov 6 (pending cold weather) for 10 days of daylight to dark hunting action.
