The only thing I know about sheep, is they are copper sensitive. Most goat feed has copper in it. Copper will kill sheep, so check the label before feeding.

Work with the breeder to make sure you are doing it all perfect. He wants you to be successful. It will make his animals worth more money. Ask him tons of questions. Send him pics. If he is a good breeder, he will help you.

Start working with him on showing. Be ready early fall with a good exercise program.

I sure liked the show ring a lot more when everyone started with an animal from the same place.
