I wouldnt try Charlies with this much fresh water. Id put in at Fishing Ctr and head towards the Old Coast guard station. Incoming tide should bring salt water through the pass. Outgoing is gonna be nasty

        Hurricane Cut
Been fishing POC and the area for over 50 years. What are you calling Hurricane Cut?

All good suggestions as for as fishing spots go but there's a lot of fresh water as of this morning.

Hurricane cut is in Indianola not POC. Maybe it’s called some else but that’s what I know it as. It’s the channel/cut from the bay to east pocket/powderhorn lake that is right out in front of the Indianola marina

Wherever you go down their just be careful. Place is a madhouse during summertime. Lots of people behind the wheel of boats that haven’t got a clue. Good luck.
