It's not a cross, and not short. It's a very mature aoudad with a deep chest and sagging belly, and that makes the relatively short legs look even shorter. SHOOT him! Looks to be about 30" horns. Very nice trophy. Donate the meat to one of the weirdos that thinks aoudad tastes good.
