Plant Explosion at TCP Port Neches

A little over an hour ago we had a huge explosion that was probably felt 20 miles away. I heard the blast and can see flames from about 10 miles away.

I understand that windows got blown out of houses up to a couple of miles away.

Felt the explosion 25 miles away. I actually thought the windows were going to break. Heard reports of mandatory evacuation within 1/2 mile radius at this time.

Woke us up in Bridge city . I work across the street at Huntsman.. I hope no one was hurt..

Yeah it was bad. Still is. Prayers up for all. We headed north to Beaumont almost immediately. With 4 little ones.......we gone.

We lost several windows and a door at our house right by port neches high school. Wife cut up her feet on broken glass.
