Tell me about it ! I planted two plots with a bean mix this spring and the turds wiped it out. I didn't have fifteen bean sprouts in a 3/4 ac. plot. Got a plan for next year though. It involves night vision and a 6.8 !

I read somewhere that hogs are attracted to the fresh turned earth so till and let set for a couple weeks then plant. It is supposed to curb them from rooting up fresh planted seed. Of course it does not keep them off the sprouting crop.

OP you should offer a "kill as many as you can" weekend for TBH members. Caveat of course no drinking/stupidity and leave the place cleaner than you found it but I'd bet you'd get them cleaned out in quick order.

Then donate the meat you don''t want to a food shelter to help the community.

Planting my plot in a week or two. There's been some hogs around lately and I've had a 200-225lb boar on camera several times. They've been rooting in the hay meadows some. destructive creatures that's for sure.
