My wife shot a axis spike this evening. She mentioned that he was moving slow and wasn’t acting normal. The arrow passed through and he just walked off. We gave him 30 min and got on blood. He made 15 yards. Once I started skinning I noticed what looks to be clogged veins. I didn’t want to take a chance so I dumped him. I’ve never seen this in any of the axis I’ve killed in the last 25 years. What’s yalls thoughts?
