7.62x39 AR mag
08-01-2022, 08:34 PM
Just ordered a AR chambered in 7.62x39. Unfortunately they are out of mags. What are some decent mags for this caliber and where can I get them? Looking 20 or 30 rounders.
Thanks

I don't know what brand the two I have are but they feed and function well. I have a 20 and 30 rounder.

C products used to make the best AR mags for the 7.62x39. I have them for my 7.62, and they have worked flawlessly.

ASC! 30's work great and 20's are ok. Don't waist your money on 10's. Haven't had any malfunction 's with my 30's.

Duramags only. I prefer the 20 rd. Stay away from the AR Stoner mags.

Are the Duramag caliber specific?
( 223/556 mag will or will not work for 7.62x39 ??? ). It might be a dumb question but I’m still learning the AR stuff.

I have had no problems with ASC mags for 7.62x39.
I ordered mine from Gunmag Warehouse.
