Saturday afternoon my son passed on a buck that we were not sure was 13", and he was worried he would not get chance on another buck before youth weekend ended. His decision to pass that first buck was rewarded with an opportunity on a better buck Sunday afternoon. This is his first buck and he was plenty excited, but his attention quickly turned to trying to get a doe once they walked back into the corn. We decided to let the doe walk until next weekend.
In a matter of two weeks he got his first deer (doe) with a cross bow and now his first buck. He is definitely hooked and can't wait to get back in the stand this weekend.
