Starting real slow this morning. Wind gusting to about 18 out of the north.
That's okay, I got all day

Really slow this morning. Really thought they would be up and moving.
Still have the rest of the day

For those that haven't experienced Kansas weather, here's an example.
Woke up this morning at 330 to 63* and a SSW wind. At 530 the front hit and the temp dropped to 53*. Yea that's not bad, but wait. Kansas gets A LOT of wind and it is kicking today. Out of the North at 20mph and gusting to 29 mph. That gives a feels like temp of 41*. Just when you think you are dressed for it, you are NOT.
Anyway, with the gusty winds there was no movement. Here all day and waiting for one to pass by..

Give it time. I've lived in Kansas for a long time. I like it windy. Bucks have a hard time pinpointing hot does in the wind, so they run a lot. Patience...

I'd rather have it windy myself. We saw alot more movement from the bucks on the windy days vrs the calm when we were there

.keep up the hard work and putting in the time!

Wind has calmed a little, but still has some bite to it. Words are starting to have a little squirrel and bird action. Now I just need some deer

How do Bucks know to stop where a tree blocks the vitals. Shooter 8 pt inside 30 yds stopped with a tree blocking. Stood there for 10 min, turned and walked away.
